Production encompasses numerous tasks to ensure the success of an event beginning with the “Technical Rider” dissimulation. The Production Manager is responsible for breaking down the contents of the artist rider which typically includes the following; Billing of Artist, Length and presentation of performance, Security, Load in and Load out, Quantity of complimentary tickets and passes, Merchandising, Transportation, Dressing room set up, meals, professional photographer with backdrop (if applicable), videographer, Back line, Sound and Lighting. The Production Manager will communicate with the venues designated production staff and production manager for contracted artist(s) and will be responsible for coordinating the artist itinerary. This includes but is not limited to: air travel, train, or ground transportation, (i.e. bus, limo or van, etc.), scheduled pickup and drop off locations, press interviews and in-store appearances. The production manager develops the production schedules which include sound checks, show and door times. If an artist does not include a tech rider the production manager can create one. Core personnel to assist the production manager include but are not limited to the following: Stage Manager, Assistant Production Manager, Security Director, Sound Engineer, Lighting Director, and Stage Technicians.
Promotions
After a budget has been established, a marketing campaign must be developed. We have developed media relationships regionally and nationally via radio, network and cable television. These relationships can be utilized to get the most out of your dollar. Developing ad schedules, inclusive of promotional mentions (live and pre-recorded), billboards and ticket giveaways, to name a few is essential to maximizing an effective promotional campaign. E-Marketing is an additional component enabling the campaign to reach thousands of readers dedicated to the social fabric. Our Promotions Director will devise a program that will provide statistics of each e-mail campaign. Additionally, Street Team Marketing including posters and flyers are major tools in a successful promotion. Although not quantifiable these methods are considered “grass roots marketing” and can be an effective reinforcement to the overall promotional campaign.
